About FlapAstro

FlapAstro is an astrophotographer based in Switzerland, working from a garden observatory at 840 m under Bortle 4 skies.

An interest in astronomy that began around 1980 has evolved alongside the tools used to capture the night sky—from film and manually guided exposures to today’s digital imaging systems.

I enjoy the whole process: planning a target, collecting data through the night, processing the result, and occasionally writing software when the available tools do not quite fit.
